We have a view that technology should be a pleasure, not a chore.
Computers & technology by their nature advance quickly & it is easy to become overwhelmed by the pace of change.
Terms like “wi-fi, router, processor, gigabytes and trojans” abound, making us feel like we ought to understand when often all we want to do is send an email or listen to our music, safe in the knowledge that we are not going to be sharing our private data with the rest of the world.
Compute This will always aim to maximise your computing experience. We will explain in plain English what we are doing but never patronise you. We will come to your property & conduct our work courteously and whenever possible, without the need to remove equipment.
We adhere to & promote the values in the ACRBO Member Code of Conduct, full details of which can be found here.
A little bit from Simon, Founder.
“I created Compute This in 2007 (seems like yesterday!) after a varied career in the plastics & steel industries. Then, and still now, there was a void in the marketplace for relaxed, at home, technical support.
Along the way I’ve met some great people, many of whom I would now consider to be friends. In fact, the social element of what we do here is the best part.
I truly love every aspect of the business really. The decision some years ago to extend the same ethos to supporting small businesses and seeing them develop and grow too makes me realise the decision in 2007 had some merit.
I currently live in the friendly village location of Wrenbury on the outskirts of Nantwich. You may occasionally see me strolling alongside the canal thanking my lucky stars!!” – Simon
